What is a good page load time for an ecommerce site?
Under 2.5 seconds LCP on mobile field data is the passing bar; under 2 seconds is where leading stores sit. Field (real-user) data matters more than lab scores.
The practical target is Google's 'good' Core Web Vitals threshold: Largest Contentful Paint at or under 2.5 seconds for at least 75% of real mobile visits. Stronger storefronts hold LCP near or under 2 seconds on product and category templates.
Two cautions. First, judge on field data - what real visitors experience - not a lab test on a fast connection. Second, template matters more than site average: a fast homepage cannot compensate for a slow product page, because the product page is where buying decisions happen.
